Menopause & Perimenopause Treatment:

Specialist Doctors, Personalised Care

Are you suffering from symptoms of the perimenopause and menopause?

51 is the average age at which women in the UK reach the menopause - but there may be up to fifteen years of hormonal changes in a woman's body before she reaches the point where her periods stop. There is nothing average about the way hormones affect our lives, we are all individuals and are affected in different ways.

The effects of the hormonal changes are wide-ranging; they can be psychological as well as physical, and vary in severity from just being inconvenient, to completely life changing.

You might be here because:

  • you are feeling exhausted but just can’t sleep

  • your mood or confidence levels have changed

  • you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed in a way that you never have before

  • you just don’t feel like yourself….

We can help.

We are a GP-led service with a team of women’s health specialist doctors. We work in accordance with guidance from the British Menopause Society and NICE.

Our team of doctors offer caring, supportive, evidence-based advice - completely tailored to you.

We offer consultations with our women's health specialist doctors in a calm and relaxed clinic environment

Common menopause symptoms that we can help with

It is a common misconception that menopause symptoms start and end with the infamous ‘hot flush’.

In fact, the list of the symptoms and effects of the menopause is long and includes many psychological as well as physical symptoms. These can be anything from:

  • poor sleeping

  • brain fog

  • anxiety

  • low mood

  • joint pain

  • vaginal soreness

  • recurrent urinary infections

And lots more besides. In fact a lot of women we see don’t even realise that some of the symptoms they are experiencing could be connected to the menopause; many more are misdiagnosed and may not receive the right treatment.

How our Menopause Consultations work:

  • Book your Consultation

You can book your new patient appointment using the live booking links below. If you have questions, concerns, or need help, please feel free to contact our friendly reception team who can talk you through the process and make an appointment for you.

  • 60-Minute New Patient Appointment

Your doctor will take the time to get a full picture of your health, including your medical history, symptoms, and your individual concerns. They will take time to talk through possible treatments, including hormonal and non-hormonal options, and to answer any questions. You will leave the appointment with a treatment plan.

  • 30-Minute Follow Up Appointment

The follow-up consultation with your doctor is an opportunity to review how you are feeling on your new treatment plan, and to make any adjustments that may be helpful.

  • On-going Support & Monitoring

Once your symptoms are stable, we can either see you for an annual follow up consultation, if you’d like us to continue your care - or we can ask your GP to take over your care within the NHS.
